Our mission is to economically empower women and girls across the world by addressing the critical daily challenges of time poverty, self worth and cleaner, healthier cooking. We are about finding, supporting and innovating culturally relevant solutions to life's challenges for communities around the world.

The Wonderbag business model is based on a buy and donate model. For every retail Wonderbag bought a donation is made to the Wonderbag Foundation to subsidize Wonderbags and host WonderFeasts in vulnerable communities around the world.



Our story.


Sarah Collins couldn't sleep. It was 2008, and rolling blackouts had darkened the city of Johannesburg. There were severe, ongoing energy shortages throughout South Africa, and everyone was affected. Cities and towns, hospitals and schools—all had power only once every several days, and then only for a few hours. It was during one of these blackouts that Sarah leapt out of bed at two in the morning and woke up her roommate. "I've got it!" she said. "I know how I'm going to change the world." Full story here.
