Kelly Froelich

Chief of staff

Kelly Froelich is the Chief of Staff of the Wonderbag Foundation. Kelly spent her professional career in the tech industry before joining the Wonderbag Foundation team. Previously, Kelly worked in data analytics and business intelligence at Facebook and ClassPass. At Facebook, Kelly worked on the development of new payment products such as the “Donate” button for charities and the “Buy” button for businesses. At ClassPass, Kelly built the data architecture for the entire company, culminating in a “SQL Bootcamp” to teach 50+ ClassPass employees SQL (structured query language) and in a volunteer fair for 10 charities to engage with 200+ ClassPass employees about volunteer opportunities in New York City.

After spending her workdays sandwiched between coaching an elementary school girls’ running team for Girls on the Run in the mornings and volunteering at the Madison Square Boys and Girls Clubs or the One Love Foundation in the evenings, she decided to make changing the world a full-time job and spent the summer before beginning her MBA with the Wonderbag Foundation in Tongaat, South Africa, including partaking in the Nelson Mandela Day celebrations and experiencing the magic of a WonderFeast firsthand. While she was leaving South Africa to go back to school, she knew she did not want to leave the Wonderbag Foundation and currently works remotely in between classes.

Kelly received her B.S. in Economics from Duke University and is currently pursuing her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Kelly is a certified personal trainer, avid autobiography reader, and a proud New Jersey native. She currently lives in Durham, North Carolina with her boyfriend, Jack, and their black lab mix, Kobe.
